Cesma: Formazione & Cultura
CESMA's CHARTER programs are designed for cultural tourists who are interested in a unique learning experience while vacationing abroad in Italy. These "edutourism" packages take the form of a fieldtrip where classroom instruction is combined with fun and educational excursions and labwork to yield a more memorable experience.

CESMA is an Italian institution commited to the conservation of Italian art and culture.   Our main activities as a non-profit, public-private consortium are in education, museum management, publishing, and edutourism.  Our education services began in 1996 and have prepared 100s of students for work in the cultural field through practical training in art conservation, museum management, archaeology, multi-media productions, and tourism.  Our mission of cultural preservation is further realized through the management of three museums and a publishing arm that has distributed over 30 books and 5 DVDs in the past decade. Our edutourism efforts began in 2005 with a summer program in Art Conservation for international students and has grown to include a full suite of courses in the Culture, History, and ART of Italy that we now call our CHARTER Programs.
EDUCATION

CESMA offers two types of educational programs:

Our Degree Programs are certified and Degree Programs financed by the EU through several city and regional governments and provide students with professional certifications in the cultural fields of art conservation, archaeology, tourism, or museum management.

Our CHARTER Programs are edutourism courses offered to lifelong learners wanting to see, learn and experience the CHARTER Program - LangheCulture, History, and ART of Italy while traveling in the country.

PUBLISHING

CESMA's publishing arm, Edizioni Nautilus Torino, has two activities:

For the last decade, Edizioni Nautilus Torino has Il segreto del Codice Miniato published both historical fiction and scientific titles from several authors on topics related to the art, architecture, archaeology, and the people, places, and history of the Piedmont Region in Italy.

Recently, Cesma has produced and Nautilus has published several Italian documentaries on ArduinoDVD chronicling the history and archaeology of Piedmont from prehistorical times into the modern era.

CESMA manages three museums in the Piedmont Region of Italy:

This museum is dedicated to the Ibexpreservation of the Ibex and man's relationship with this beautiful mountain creature throughout the centuries.
